Cactus Hotel is located in the Makenzie area of Larnaca, Cyprus, near the Blue-Flag beaches. A 3-minute walk leads to a seashore promenade, offering easy access to Castella Beach and Makenzie Beach. The hotel is just a 10-minute stroll from Phoinikoudes Seafront and the Town Center, with Larnaka International Airport only a 7-minute drive away.

the rooms cleaning happen every day. i had a room included balcony. street parking was available and this helped very much.

the tv have only greek channels.

lovely stay

local restaurant swimming pool

the location suited me wonderfully. it was an eight-minute car ride from the airport. a great local restaurant called valia was very close. the large swimming pool had plenty of tanning beds.

the triple room had three normal beds. the rooms were cleaned every day. the bedding was changed every three days. i appreciated the clean and tidy atmosphere in the room.

it was easy to get to the city center, it took about 25 minutes. the hotel has a good location near the airport. it's easy to reach the sea coast after a short walk of about five minutes. the area felt safe.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. i was allowed to use the pool after checkout, that was very kind. the receptionist was lovely. They checked me in during the early hours. their kindness meant a lot.

breakfast was good by the pool, there was a nice variety of food. the buffet breakfast was vast with multiple choices. i was happy with the options. eggs and sausages were served daily.

Acceptable but Problematic Stay

The staff was helpful .

My room had a significant issue with mosquitoes and I spent half the night trying to get rid of them. The bathroom window lacked a mosquito net and this exacerbated the problem.

I walked from the bus stop. The hotel was about a 25-minute walk from the town center. a friendly lady welcomed me at reception. the room was spacious with a balcony that had a table and chairs. It was nice to sit outside. the beds were.

around the pool there was an intermittent unpleasant smell, which detracted slightly from the otherwise enjoyable experience.

Breakfast was included. It featured a continental buffet with a good selection. the hotel also has a restaurant, open for lunch. the bar had a selection of cocktails. i recommend the local beer, keo.

The hotel has a lovely swimming pool. You can buy a towel if needed. there is also a pool table for recreational use. these facilities provided added convenience and enjoyment, we loved the pool.

i found the location convenient, a short walk to the seafront. the room had a balcony with a table and chairs, i appreciated that feature. breakfast included a continental buffet offering a good selection of food.

the hotel didn't provide a kettle or cups in the room for coffee or tea. i needed to rent a fridge for 5 euros per day. the pillows were quite uncomfortable, i had trouble sleeping.

new pool dining area room cleaning basic breakfast

The hotel offers a nice new pool and dining area. Refurbishment of these areas took place during the winter. I had a room cleaned daily, very convenient. Breakfast provided a decent, basic start to the day without any issues.

I noticed no kettle was provided in my room, so I couldn't make tea or coffee there. However I was able to get hot water from reception.

The bus stop is a short two minute walk away. Line 425 provides direct service to the airport. The hotel's location is in a quieter area, though Castella and Mackenzie beaches are still a ten to fifteen minute walk away.

solid stay near the sea

clean room working air conditioning beach location

i found my room very clean upon arrival. the air conditioning worked well, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature. the hotel is located a short walk from the beach, a real plus for me. the breakfast included a decent selection of continental items. the pool area had ample seating. i enjoyed cooling off in the pool. but the pool bar, offered a variety of drinks at reasonable prices.

the wifi signal was sometimes weak in my room.
